🎉 SLIMBOOK turns 10 years old: a decade of innovation, community and commitment.
In june of 2015 began our adventure. Ten years later, SLIMBOOK celebrates a decade of lifetime and we do it the best way by sharing with our community, offering value to our customers with an ambitious look towards the future.
An origin with a goal
SLIMBOOK was born in Spain the year 2015 with a clear goal: become the leading brand in the laptop market with GNU/Linux. Since the very first day, we proposed to offer a superior experience in IT, by designing and manufacturing first tier ultrabooks in order to achieve an optimal performance from the first boot, without inconvenience nor additional configuration.
Our wager on computer equipment that is "ready to use" with Linux was a pioneer idea, it was designed for all those who needed total compatibility without giving up on the design, performance and technical support.
Our goal goes beyond the hardware of our laptops. SLIMBOOK was born to contribute actively with software ecosystem, cooperating with desktop interface developers, Linux distributions and worldwide open source entities for the enhancement of user experience.
10 years growing with the community
During this decade we have achieved:

A launch of 20 and more computer equipment such as laptops, desktops, mini PCs and servers.

Development of in-house tools such as Slimbook Battery or Face, both widely adopted.

Cooperation with universities, public and private institutions, including as well multiple free software projects.

Major investment in local technical support and carefully attended assembly, with swift customer support and high quality selected parts.
On top of everything we built an incredible community that drives us everyday.
