In the last few days, there has been clients that notified us of instability issues in their Slimbook EVOs.
After an initial investigation, we had found several laptops from the leading brands on the market, that have the same problem, due to an incompatibility with AMD's public driver and the iGPU of the Ryzen AI 300 series.
The manual installation of newer versions from AMD's website (versions 25.xx.xx and newer) could make this issues appear:
- Display freezes.
- General instability.
- Lost access to AMD Adrenaline.
Solution
The solution is as simple as uninstalling the driver in Device Manager -> Display adapters -> Right click over AMD Radeon(TM) 880M Graphics -> Uninstall device -> Check the "Attempt to remove the driver for this device" checkbox -> Uninstall.

- After the driver is uninstalled, install this other AMD driver found in our web:
Evo 14 and Evo 15 AI 365 (version 24.30.46.11)

- After it is downloaded, remove Wi-Fi connectivity and/or ethernet.
- Restart the device.
- Continue without connectivity and install the AMD driver.
02_AMD VGA -> 02_AMD VGA -> 1_AMD_GPU_driver_24.30.46.11
Right click over Setup.exe -> Install as an Administrator.
After the installation wizard is shown, select Install Type as Driver Only and Install.

- After it gets installed, restart the device, after this you can connect your Wi-Fi and/or ethernet.
- To check that the correct version was installed properly, go to Device Manager -> Display adapters -> Right click over AMD Radeon(TM) 880M Graphics -> Properties -> Driver -> Driver Version

The correct driver should be : 32.0.13046.11001
