Many of my keyboard shortcuts have stopped working after upgrade

A couple of weeks ago I upgraded my Slimbook ProX 15 5700U  (OS is Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS) some of the more important shortcuts I have been using in Rstudio (https://posit.co/products/open-source/rstudio/?sid=1) such as Restart R (ctrol+shift+F10) and Help (F1) now not only do not work, but have various effects.

 In the case of ctrol + shift + F10 the volume is shown, and even worse in the case of F1, the OS session seems to shut down and, after a while, the log in screen appears. 

How can i revert the hijacking of the rstudio shortcuts by the Slimbook OS?

Thank you a lot (I spend a lot of time working with rstudio and its shortcuts are critical to meI

Good morning,

The behaviour of these keys are intended to do what you described when the FN key is pressed, however there's a BIOS setting to lock the FN key or not. You can disable it in the Advanced tab and then Disable FN for F1 to F12 

Your function keys should behave as normal after this

Thank you so much! This did restore the behaviour of the shortcuts in rstudio.
