I'm considering buying the NAS Cube, but the motherboard is rather anonymous and I hear, which I believe covers the motherboard in question) that bifurcation isn't supported for the PCIe slot, but he also surmised that it might just be something that's missing in the BIOS, and although it seems that you don't get any if you buy it on Ali Express or eBay, apparently you do provide BIOS updates of some sort, so does the Cube perchance support bifurcation of the PCIe slot, or might it be possible in the future?

Hello,
PCIe bifurcation is not supported on this motherboard and CPU combination, as it is not recommended by AMD.
You can refer to the official ASUS bifurcation compatibility list here: https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1037507/ — according to it, AMD 8000 series CPUs are not supported.
We do offer warranty and technical support, including BIOS updates. However, before bringing any product to market, we spend months testing and refining the firmware to ensure stability and performance.
We provide manufacturers with guidance on which integrated chips, CPUs, and components should be used in motherboard production. That said, we are not Apple, ASUS, or Dell, and therefore we cannot control the entire manufacturing process exclusively. Some limitations arise from engineering or production constraints.
We strive to improve the market, even though it remains open and products can be sourced from other vendors.
