I have a very specific question regarding USB hubs but maybe some has tested this and and knows the answer.
Currently I'm using "ThinkPad Hybrid USB-C" which uses evdi/DisplayLink driver. It works fine but has a annoying issue: redshift is not supported by DisplayLink so it doesn't work on external monitors:

Does any of the docks available in Slimbook store use different drivers and does work with redshift?

If any laptop doesn't have native video output through the
USB-C port, the docks in the Slimbook store for laptops without native
output use the same DisplayLink driver and therefore won't offer that
functionality.

Sorry, I didn't realize this will actually depend on the laptop model. I thought it's just USB-C so all models will be the same...
I have Evo 14 laptop which supposedly has "USB-C DP" port. Does this mean "native video output through USB-C"? So would any of the Hubs work without DisplayLink? I understand that the alternative is "DisplayPort Alt Mode", right?
